Meet us in North Phoenix at 9 AM. You can drive yourself up north or coordinate a carpool with the group (we’ll set up a chat ahead of time). Plan to stop in downtown Flagstaff for a quick lunch before heading to Arizona Snowbowl for an afternoon of skiing, snowboarding, hot cocoa and fresh mountain air. Free lessons are available.

In the evening, unwind at a contemplative winter retreat set against a clear night sky, right off historic Route 66. Complete with fire pits, The General Store, games, sauna, and plunge pool, H.C.M.L. also offers a movie night every Friday, starting at dusk.

Start your morning on the slopes back at Snowbowl as early as 9 AM or slow it down at the hotel until checkout at 11 AM. Enjoy breakfast nearby or back at The General Store, then choose your adventure:

• Hit the slopes again (lift tickets & rentals not included, book online)

• Take in The Garden Party at Round-Up Rail Garden (12-2 PM, free but register online)

• Ride the Winter Scenic Gondola to 11,500 feet for incredible views (12-4 PM, tickets $29 online)

Whether you’re skiing hard or just enjoying the snow, the Après in the Pines Overnight is all about movement, connection, and a cozy winter escape with friends.
